ATG Configuration
Learn how to use the ATG Configuration page to add or test a facility's gauge connectivity.
Table of Contents
The new ATG Configuration page may be used in the following scenarios:
- You've noticed data is not polling from the ATG correctly
- You've encountered an error sending/receiving messages using the ATG terminal emulator
- You're setting up a new facility or configuring a new ATG at an existing facility
- IT changes have been made at the facility that may impact ATG connectivity
- You would like to review polling history
This page can be located from the Facility Menu by clicking Facility Info & ATG Configuration OR by clicking ATG Management & Connection.

Tip: Not seeing one or both of these options in the facility menu? Users with access to the Administrative Console can grant “ATG Configuration” and "Connection" page permissions at the User Role level in the General tab under ATG Management.

Add New ATG Connection
To add a new connection, complete the required fields on the ATG Details section and the ATG Connectivity section. If testing an existing connection, verify the accuracy of the data onscreen.
Tip: We strongly recommend confirming these fields with your IT department or other internal source.
| Connection Type | Minimum Required Fields |
|---|---|
| TCP/IP: Public IP | IP Address, TCP Port |
| TCP/IP: VPN* | IP Address, Port |
| Dial Up Modem | Number, Baud, Parity, Stop Bits, Data Bits |
*VPNs available in the Connection Type dropdown value are managed by an admin on the Proxy Info page. If you are missing an expected value, please reach out to your implementation or customer success manager for assistance.
Note: If you're adding new IP/Port information for a Franklin Fueling gauge, Web Console Protocol and Port are also required. However, there is currently a limitation on this page that causes the test to fail if Web Console Protocol and Web Port are present. If needed, you can test without these values and input them prior to saving changes.
Tip: Depending on how you are setting up the connection, additional fields such as security code or password may be required on this screen, and additional setup outside of Titan Cloud may be necessary. For example:
- VPN setups require coordination with Titan Cloud Support
- Public ATG polling requires a whitelist for IPv4 35.168.249.144
If you are unsure of what's needed for your connection setup, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager for next steps.
What are my Web Console Protocol & Port?
Web protocols set the rules for how data is sent across networks.
By default, VR-450 and FF 200/400/600 gauges use https:// with port 443.
By default, FF 550s use http:// with port 80.
These defaults can be changed in the ATG itself.
Test ATG Connection
Clicking Run Test will automatically send a series of commands to the ATG using the connection parameters provided. At minimum, the 200 and I20100 tests should result in a PASS.

Save Configuration
When a successful test has been run, click Query Gauge & Save. This action will trigger a query event to the ATG and capture full ATG configuration settings.
Please give the system up to 5 minutes to update the ATG connectivity parameters.
During this process, the Query Gauge and Run Test buttons will appear grayed out and will not be available.

You may also check the status of the update in the Polling Log. Please note that the polling log does not refresh automatically. To view changes, please refresh your browser window.

Tip: Initial configuration syncing will display in the polling log as two query processes. This is expected behavior as a result of how the system operates.
Once the query process is completed and the status is Warning or Success, the setup should be complete and ready for polling to begin.
Once everything is updated, you will see the changes on the Facility Profile page under the ATG Information tab.

Note: The ATG Connection information on the Facility Profile has an IP Address field and a Polling IP Address field.
The IP Address field is editable from this screen but does not impact ATG polling. The Polling IP Address field can only be updated using the ATG Configuration page.
You can also verify a successful connection by navigating to the Tank Inventory page. If no inventory data has been populated yet, click Poll Now to retrieve data.
Tip: While the ATG connection typically syncs in just a few minutes, inventory, delivery, and alarm data will be polled according to your account's schedule, typically hourly. Depending on timing, it may take up to an hour for the next scheduled poll to occur.
Disable ATG Connection
To deactivate the connection, simply click the Inactivate Site in Polling button.

Advanced Settings
Select Advanced Settings in the left side tab menu to review or manage advanced network and inbound settings.

Polling Log
Select Polling Log in the left side tab menu to review polling history.

Tip: The Polling Log does not refresh automatically. To view the most updated results, refresh your web browser window.
