Forecasting Dashboard
Learn how to navigate the Forecasting Dashboard within the Inventory Management & Forecasting Module
Table of Contents
The forecasting engine in Titan Logistics (TFX) leverages inventory data and delivery details to forecast fuel needs.
When configured correctly, the Inventory Management & Forecasting module helps plan efficient delivery schedules and optimize fleet management. While forecasted data is incorporated throughout the platform, the Forecasting Dashboard is the centralized location where users can view and manage forecasted orders.
To open the Forecasting Dashboard, click the Inventory Management & Forecasting tile on the Supplier home page.

Like other dashboards in the platform, the top of the page contains the collapsible Filter and Summary panels. Because this page references a very large amount of data, a filter must be applied for summary data and forecasted orders to appear on the page.
Tip: The From Date and To Date range filter orders results based on ETA with a date range limit of 3 months.
Tip: If there's a specific set of filters you'll use often, save it as a Preference!
When available, click the “Favorite Preference” dropdown to select a Preference or click Add New to create a new one.

Changes to Preferences can be saved by clicking Update Preference.
Forecasted Orders
The Forecasted Orders tab lists all estimated DRs that apply to the chosen filters in a grid for easy at-a-glance review.

- Manually Created: The DR was created manually using the Create Order form.
- Must Go: Runout will occur if delivery is not made in the CURRENT shift
- Should Go: Runout will occur if delivery is not made in the NEXT shift
- Could Go: Compartment/FTL can fit without a retain
When applicable, orders are grouped together by load, and may be collapsed/expanded by clicking the blue triangle in the top right corner of each group.

Create Order
To manually create an order, click Create DR and fill out the form. You may use the Sales and Trends tabs within the form to reference historical data for the selected location. Click Submit to save.

Manage Orders
To edit or delete an order, use the icons at the far right.
To delete orders in bulk, use the checkmarks at the left side to designate which orders should be deleted, then click Delete.

You may also export forecasted orders as a CSV file by clicking Export.
Location View
The Location View tab can be used to dig into detailed historical and predictive data and manage forecasting at the location or tank level.
The Location Overview panel will show the details for the location selected on the left side of the screen.
Tip: You can enable/disable forecasting for the selected location by toggling Forecasting Status in the Location Overview.

You can explore data for this location by selecting the Tank, Product, or Delivery Requests tab.

Tip: Forecasting can be enabled/disabled at the tank level by clicking the lock icon at the bottom of the Tank Information card.

Click the expand icon to view additional details including actual and estimated inventory trends for a selected tank.

To view graph data in table format, click the open icon to open a grid in a new browser tab.

Grid data can be viewed by Usage or Inventory using the toggle at the top left, and may be exported or printed using the tools at the top right.
Tip:
-
Usage: Sales figures as calculated using inventory readings and delivery data.
- Usage = (Start Inv. - End Inv.) + Quantity Dropped
- Inventory: Values captured in inventory readings.
When applicable, you may manually change forecasted usage for a tank from this page by updating values in the User Forecasted column.
